Last week I attended the Committee meeting of the excellent Friends of Walkden Station (FOWS). They are doing some excellent work and have arranged a public meeting to discuss rail issues in Walkden.
The FOWS public meeting will be held on Tuesday 2nd October at Walkden Royal British Legion on Wilfred Road, starting at 7.30pm. It would be great to see a good turnout.
