I’m well aware of the hard work required Andrew. It is your Labour colleagues who have taken Walkden for granted, which is why after 25 years of Labour representation Walkden South now elects Conservative Councillors with large majorities and over 50% of the vote.

I don’t have a car and I use public transport nearly every day, unlike one senior Labour figure who drives to meetings in a big black BMW to lecture everyone else about using public transport!

You should stop praising your local comrades Andrew, you give them far more credit than they will ever give you. I can see that you are enthusiastic, you live locally, you make use of local facilities, and you get on well with the local MP, and yet I’m told they won’t even let you on their pool of local government candidates?

Don’t worry Ian,you can rest assured I want let you forget the past!

I t takes more than standing outside local Railway Stations and Parks
to catch false photo images.It takes hard work!!

The Local Labour Party that I am involved in actually use these
services and facilities and are working hard to improve every aspect of transport etc etc

I’m not interested in debating the distant past Andrew – I am far more concerned with the present and the future and I look forward to further announcements from Theresa on rail services and public transport generally.

I thought I’d give a reply because 0 Responses looks quite
bad.

I’m glad Theresa took time out for Walkden Station we are
getting some great media.

I hope Theresa can come up with some good Torie transport
policies.But please cast your Torie minds back to 1994 and
Railtrack and who was in charge of Bus deregulation?
