Tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday is the North West Conservative Conference, which is being held in Bolton for the second year running - nice and convenient from here! It’s a real heavyweight agenda and includes contributions from David Cameron, George Osborne and William Hague amongst many others. It should be a good event.

I’ve had a busy few days.
Wednesday was the Budget Council meeting - more on that when I get the chance but in the meantime I agree wholeheartedly with the comments made by my colleagues Cllr Karen Garrido and Cllr Ian MacDonald in this week’s Advertiser. I had two further meetings on Wednesday and I’ve been out much of today as well.
