Thatt officer took the view rightly as it turned out that this was not not some innocent gesture but was part of a wider political campaign. All three group leaders were subsequentlu briefed and raisex no objection. I'm glad we have a handful of decent councillors in Salford [the Conservatives] to stand up for Salfordians and St. George's and to expose the contempt for the public and the cowardice of The Two Johnnies. Why do these cowards refuse even to meet with the ordinary people of Salford whose schools they so casually seek to destroy? These Labour leaders are pathetic beyond belief! I entirely agree Iain.
