Meanwhile, ET’s house is worth some five times TD’s and just to underline the she’s one of us line GD lost her house in a repossession.

ET is worth £50M plus I believe.

Only time will tell whether parts of the LP campaign are disgraceful and worked or disgraceful and failed. But as I blogged yesterday the fuss from Tories about the Toff stuff is way way OTT.

Paradoxically the more Tory fuss the more likely it is to work IMO.

I nearly used a pie chart in one Salford ward this year, but decided against it. I know the Manchester Conservatives are big fans of pie charts.

Yes – I certainly can. We all of us do our best to squeeze the third party vote till the pips squeak – just as those of us in that situation do our best to avoid it! We also know that the Lib Dems should never be underestimated in a bye-election.

Can you imagine the Liberal Democrat bar charts if Labour or the Conservatives found themselves in the position that the LibDem candidate is in Crewe? A poor third in the polling, a poor third at the last General Election, and a poor third in the local elections held only two weeks ago.

I’m not bothered about the LibDem candidate. It’s a two-horse race – only Cheshire man Edward Timpson can beat Gordon Brown’s Labour candidate from Pembrokeshire!
