I’ve now had confirmation that Salford City Council does not have any investments in the troubled Icelandic banks.

This is welcome news and a small silver lining in what is otherwise a very bleak financial outlook for the Council.

Planning Panel has agreed to make a site visit to Old Clough Lane to look at the proposed access to the new Walkden High School. 2009/01/08
FOWS meeting tonight at 7pm. Tomorrow I'm going to the Planning Panel with residents from Old Clough Lane and Mereclough Avenue. 2009/01/07
