A quick plug for the Friends of Walkden Station who together with Northern Rail have kindly organised a “meet the manager” session on the platform:
FOWS are delighted to announce that from 5pm on Tuesday 2nd December, Northern Rail’s area manager Natasha Wilding will be at Walkden station to meet commuters.
This is a great opportunity for passengers to feedback to Northern about the facilities and services at Walkden, and ask questions about their future plans for the station.
Thanks for the plug Iain. We (FOWS) are hoping to lay on some mince pies and mulled wine to make a little festive occasion !
