Iain,

Cor blimey, I’ve seen the Tories put together some scurrilous propaganda in my time – but I think this piece of non-contextual rubbish might just have taken the cake.

If I’d have taken footage of Tory activists celebrating in Crewe and juxtaposed it with any sort of national problem at that time, you’d be the first (quite correctly) to be in uproar about the stupidity of it.

I agree that small clip may have been unwise, but the rest of it was spot on.
