Murder In Brookhouse

I was absolutely appalled to read about the brutal murder of a shop assistant in Brookhouse yesterday evening. My thoughts are with his family and friends.

Brookhouse Wines is no different from dozens of similar small shops across the local area and residents will be rightly concerned at such terrifying armed crime. If you have any information about last night’s appalling murder, please get in touch with the police.

I was very sad to hear the news today that Cllr Brian Millard, the new Deputy Chairman of the Fire Authority, sadly passed away yesterday. Brian was a kind and friendly man who will be greatly missed – my condolences to his family, friends and colleagues.
