It’s So Close Here In Worsley & Eccles South

If you input today’s YouGov poll into the election predictor at Electoral Calculus, it shows a Labour majority of just 0.36%.

For the first time in decades, local residents in this area have a real chance to send a message to Labour by electing a Conservative MP.

Unlike Gordon Brown’s Labour candidate, I’m a local boy and I understand the concerns of local people. When residents have an issue about local public transport, they know that I use the same buses and trains that they do. When residents are concerned about local NHS services they know that I suffer the same frustrations trying to find a local dentist that they do. When residents are concerned about their children’s school they know that I have experience of the same school system as a local school governor and in the past as a pupil at those schools myself.

Most importantly, if elected I will never forget that I represent my friends, my colleagues and my neighbours, and that every decision I mke would be taken with that in mind. I will not let you do.

It’s so close here in Worsley & Eccles South. At the next election, local people have a clear choice between a fresh start with a local Conservative MP, or more of the same with Gordon Brown and Labour. It would be an honour to have your support.
