Today I attended the homecoming parade of the 2nd Battalion of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers in Swinton.
I am really proud of both our brave troops and the people of Salford who came out in their thousands, despite the bitter cold, to welcome the troops home. They are true heroes and deserve our full support.
