It is a huge honour to be the Prospective Conservative MP for Worsley and Eccles South. I grew up and live locally in Walkden, and I share the frustration felt by local residents who have been let down and taken for granted by Labour.
Many people have – quite rightly – lost faith in both politics and politicians following the expenses scandal. As a local person, I share that anger, and I can only promise never to forget that it is my friends, family, neighbours and colleagues that I aspire to represent – I want to put something back into the community that my family and I grew up in.
